Dusseldorf, Germany –(BUSINESS WIRE)– — A new art journal that features work from around the world will launch in December, with an expected $1 million prize.
The journal, published by the French National Palaces, will feature artworks from around Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
The Palaces is the world’s oldest art museum, with a collection spanning 4,500 years.
It opened in 1885, and in 2012, the first full year of its existence, its collection was valued at $8.5 million.
The Parisian Palaces was founded in 1799 and was home to a collection of more than 30,000 paintings.
The exhibition “The World as Art” will showcase artworks by artists from over the world, including more than 20,000 from the United States, according to the press release.
The collection includes more than 25,000 works by contemporary artists.
The works will be on view in the museum’s galleries until November 3, 2019.

In addition to the artworks, the exhibition will also feature a “Best of” gallery that will showcase a number of the artists’ works.
