With a new-and-improved Palace shirt on sale for the first time, the Reds will look to avenge their 3-1 defeat to Chelsea at the Emirates on Saturday.
With the new-but-improving kit, it is hoped that it will help to ease the sting of last weekend’s 3-0 defeat, but the Reds could be looking to create a more imposing opening to the season.
The new shirt was revealed by the club’s sporting director Giuseppe Marchetti, with the first-team set to wear it for the match.
“I think it’s a fantastic kit,” said Marchettini, when asked about the change.
“I don’t know if it was the right thing for us, but now it is the best kit for us.”
With the shirt in the hands of the players, Marchetta also said that the new look was not a surprise.
“It is the perfect time for us,” he added.
“It gives us confidence in our performance.”
The new kit will be on sale from 7.00am on Sunday at the club store.
